    Makes sense. A 1.8l in a much smaller and lighter car might actually make the Prius C fast and we all know that Toyota will never make a fast and fun to drive Prius. Instead, we'll be stuck with a pokey - but more fuel efficient 1.5l.

    Do not confuse fast with quick. The Prius can be driven fast like most cars. It depends on the driver. I often leave other cars behind -and- I get twice the fuel economy they are getting. But it's also nice to just mosey along at the speed limit and get three times the fuel economy they are getting.
    Oh, and I don't think having the 1.8 l engine makes that much difference. It's 10% more powerful. Most people can't feel that.
