Rodents are getting into the lower glove box of my 2010 Prius. My wife left a bag of dog treats in the glove box and rodents found their way into the closed car and got at the treats. I didn't think that they could get into the closed car. I have looked for an opening somewhere but don't find one. I did find droppings in the engine compartment so I know that they were there. Anyone have any ideas for finding the entry point in this gen III car?

I'm going to hazard a guess: air vents.

Mice require a dime sized hole to get in and can be tenacious about chewing their way in for food or warmth.

In addition to your dog treats, mice find lots of good things to eat in the bio-degradable Prius. Fully open your lower glove box - as if you were going to change out the cabin filter. On its back wall you will find attached - fluffy white organic-based insulation - to dampen noise while opening and closing the lower glove box.

You may also find some of it missing as mice do love to eat that stuff!
