We got our silver/dark gray v 3 four weeks ago and have been enjoying it a lot more than I ever expected (my first hybrid). One thing I do find difficult to use is the NAV system. Correct me if I'm wrong but there doesn't seem to be a way to easily modify a route plan that the NAV provides and then to save the modified route. (You can only save destinations, it seems). I have changed routes by using the detour function, but I can't seem to save the modified route when the system is powered off. Is there something I'm missing or a way around this shortcoming? We're planning a 2000+ mile round trip and it is a pain each time we power up, to have to reenter the detours to recreate the desired route. Thanks, Lionel
Other than by keeping the route "active", I've found no way to save a route. You are able to add several intermediate waypoints along the way though.
