While doing some research to respond to someone else, I dug around and just realized that the Vue 2-mode STILL isn't available yet. Saturn | Hybrid Vehicle Line Up says "LIMITED AVAILABILITY SPRING 2009".

With GM being in dire straits and all the talk about Saturn (and a few other brands) going away along w/articles like Is the Saturn Vue Two-Mode hybrid DOA? Not yet, I think it'll never ship.

So much for Chrome's post at http://priuschat.com/forums/other-c...gy-partial-zero-emissions-vehicle-atpzev.html. It looks like he hasn't posted here in a long time.

The modular design was supposed to make adaptation to existing vehicles much easier than what Toyota & Ford are able to do with their FULL hybrids.

The restructuring plan stated taxpayer money would be used to bring new Two-Mode products to market.

Yet, delivering the already delayed Vue continues to be delayed.

Early August is the first we'll see of the direct-injection V6 and twin 55-kilowatt electric motors configuration of Two-Mode.

But it won't be in Saturn Vue; instead, the Cadillac SRX will get it.
