Hello all, Just joined. I have an '02 Prius that just turned over 100K. Has been and is a great car. I had the ECU replaced under warranty at about 20k but no other major problems until a few months ago. A sensor on the steering column went bad and it was an $860.00 repair. Can't complain at 96K. I've been doing my own oil changes after the factory first 7, but haven't had to do much else. I more or less just drive the car and enjoy the better than average mileage. I bought it for the emissions anyway. Now that it's out of warranty I plan to do my own work as much as possible. I have my first opportunity as when getting my annual state inspection done they found the front left wheel bearing is going. I'll post about that in Care and Maintenance. I need a decent manual but don't want to pay $100 for one. Well I don't want to get off topic so I'll jump. Glad to be here. james

Not sure how long you've been in your current Prius, but I'm glad that you decided to join in this great forum. Lots of information and discussion. You never know what you can learn day after day. Welcome.
