just got my scangauge 2 in the mail today & set it up to show rpm, radiator fluid temperature, converter coolant temperature & amp's/
now the first two work perfect, the amp I'm not really sure (it shows a "-" sign once the engine is running), the converter coolant shows nothing/
just for the heck of it I tried the oil temp (it says that it might work or not), but as expected, it didn't work/
no biggie, that was just playing around a little bit/
but what's annoying, that the inverter coolant temp doesn't show up; I re-punched all the numbers in: nada/
    neone got ne ideas?

other than that I'm happy with it, finally I can at least see two of the most basic numbers one needs to know/

    1) What XGauge configuration are you using for inverter coolant temps ?
    2) The "-" in front of Amps indicates power flow from MG1 or MG2 to the HV Battery, or charging the battery. No
"-" in front means power flow from the battery to MG2, or discharging the battery.
    3) Oil temp does not work on Prius.

I checked and I am using the XGauge parameters that you list above. It works fine on my 2010. The second one should have worked also.

I do not know why it does not work for you. Maybe someone with a 2014 will come along and explain.

With yours being new I would expect you have the latest firmware rev level. Just curious what is your firmware rev level ?

Yes, you have the latest. So it is not a firmware issue.

No, I am all out of ideas. The only thing I can think of is a possible change by Toyota in the later models. I was hoping someone with a model similar to yours would comment.

well, I don't want to start a new thread about that, but it would be nice if someone with a '14 model who has the converter coolant display working, would join in here /

Call the manufacturer. They have great customer support. Maybe your problem can be solved by getting a CAN cable from them instead of using the generic cable that comes with the gauge.

@StarCaller: below I have shown the European parameters, they are exact as yours except for MTH is in Centigrade, please test this string of parameters into your scangauge also the parameter ""NAM" tIv t=temp Iv=Inverter.
if this does the job, change Centigrade to Fahrenheit, change MTH as follows 00090005FFD8

    --------XGauge---------------------TXD----------------RXF-----------RXD------------MTH----------NAM-----Notes

    Inverter Coolant Temp----07E22175-----------02EA04610575----4008---------00010001FFD8---tIv----degC

What a pity and odd, my scangauge 2 is also version 4.13 like yours.
I will keep on searching, for a possible solution.
