Selecting Default Audio Source

I almost exclusively use my iPod to listen to music in my 2011 Prius. Every time I turn the car on I have to select the USB mode. Is there a way to make the car remember that I was using the USB source when the car shut down, thus it should continue to use it when I turn the car back on? This is the case with the radio and XM, but not USB.

I have an Advanced PiP and whenever I turn the car on it plays what I had selected when I shut it off. This works for iPod, pandora, streaming from bluetooth phone etc.

On my 2012 Four, it resumes my iPod when I restart car (7.1 Nav, JBL)

Thanks for the replies. Does anyone have the 2011 version of the NAV system that behaves like this? Maybe this problem was fixed in the newest version.
