Well I got permission to charge at my garage for the indefinite feature. I offered to tack and pay for KwH and the manager sees it as an opportunity to get data as to how much power charging stations would need. He said no need to pay as of yet, but I will be reporting in my energy use to him. I managed to get 93 MPG coming in to work this morning - I was stuck behind a slow truck driving along the coast and managed to stay in EV mode much more than normal. As far as freeway driving, clearly, the closer you stay to 55 or under, the better the mileage, although the battery usage is increased.
