Should I stay away from salt Northern cars

    In my search for a used Prius and being in GA should I stay away from salt/snow state cars. IL, MI etc..? Thank you

    If it's a gen I, there is a flapper valve on the exaust that rusts up. My dealer changed the whole exaust system to replace it.

    Salt-coutry Prius (of all model years) suffer some brake corrosion also - perhaps more than conventional vehicles whose brake 'duty cycle' is higher.
