Good question... will look at that as well...I also saw that there were a few "vacant" spots in the light fixture. You're stating that there are lights there... In my case, I thought those areas were vacant.
where are the drl in the 2012 headlight? or the fog lamp location in bumper? does someone have a pic with them on?
I missed this the first time around ... Mine has 6 lenses, five of them full and one partial. But only 4 lenses have LEDs behind them. Electrically, they are almost certainly wired as two series strings, two LEDs per string. Look for the yellowish square behind upper lenses, not present behind the lower lenses. That means the lower lens and a half are just cosmetic.
