Does anyone know if there is a third party or Toyota vendor that has a solar panel system for the Prius v? It is a long shot, but we will be going on a long vacation and I was interested in having some extra AC/DC for some cooling equipment for the dogs when the car isn't running.
Maybe not something specific but, you can check the company Goal Zero. Really good products for all needs.
Sounds cool (excuse the pun) but even if you find something, would definitely not recommend (and would WARN) against) using it as a solution to be able to leave them unattended in the car. No technology is fail-safe and the consequences ... well, you know where I'm going with this.
I am not looking for hours... but to be able to run into the store or if we go camping overnight (for all of us).
