Southern Oregon

I live near Roseburg and am wondering if there is any interest in forming a Southern Oregon Group

Come on people! The world doesn't revolve around Portland! A Southern Oregon Prius group is in order!

How about a Bend/Central Oregon Prius group too!

If I can help in any way, Oregon-Mica, let me know!

We could just talk about it. Every time someone posts to this topic it get's put in the Latest Topic Replies list on the left so more people see it. Of course, posts in the middle of the night have fewer eyes on them.

Somehow just having bought my Prius, and "flush with cash" don't mix. I will wait a bit and see if folks from my area respond. I am only 70 miles from Eugene and I would have thought there would be many Prius owners there.

I think the Eugene folks are out numbered. Let them all drive to Roseburg I say. B)

BTW, I run a website for my police association. It doesn't cost a penny. If we want to start something like meetup I'd volunteer to set it up.

I began my post a while ago and am glad there are now some local folks. I also bought from Clint Newel and enjoyed the transaction. The owners dinner was great. Please respond if folks would like to have a get together at a local restaurant. :lol:

Hello, Southern Oregon

I would love to join in a Prius club . I've had my 2001 since July 2001. A short ride in "Scamp" has influenced about 10 friends and relatives to buy hybrids -- mostly Prius, but a rare Civic or two. Now I have a 2006 on order, arrving shortly.

OK, all you Prius and Hybrid Camry and Highlander drivers, there's an active Southern Oregon HSD Meetup group to help you get together with each other. I found out I could start a meetup group down there in Roseburg since I already organize the Prius meetup group in the Portland area.

While I'm the titular organizer (isn't that a great word, now stop thinking that!), Rich is really the local man. He's even set up the first meeting on Saturday, December 16:

I am out of range, but suggest that you consider having a meeting in Bandon someday. A group Prius photo in Art Spinella's CNW parking lot! Besides, the coast and cheese factories are nice there.

WE are new owners of a Prius. We bought it in July 07. We really like our car but we are not getting anything close to the mileage that was touted. We have about 7500 miles, had our 5000 checkup as recommended. I didn't say anything at the service because I heard that the mileage would improve after the 5k service. The motor seems to run rough when it fires up. Could that be part of the problem.

We would be intested in joining a So Ore group. We live in the Medford area. Seems like a good idea to us. Let us know how what needs to happen.
