Speaker in driver's-side door/door vibrations

    When there is any degree of bass in my sound system (JBL), the driver's side door vibrates or rattles. If I push against the handle with the controls on it very hard, I can dampen the sound to where it's (almost) nonexistent. Anyone have any idea how I can fix this without bringing it to Toyota?

    Is this recent, i.e. due to wear and tear, or has it always been like this? My 2010 is fine.

    It could be that the speaker has been over driven, i.e. excessively high volume, however, since pressure on the door reduces the rattle it might pay to take the door apart to look for loose screws, bolts etc.

    Is there any instruction guide for disassembly of the doors? I doubt there's a Hayes manual lol

    Actually there might be a Hayes by now, but if you search this site you might find someone's done it before

    Mine does the same thing. But then again my floating console also creaks and pops as well. It's almost like plastic vibrating on the metal inside the door though when heavy bass drops
