Started the 07 prius this morning: No dash (Can't see speed or gears) lights, Rear Camera not working, and the "Current Mpg" reads blank. Also had trouble turning the car off...

    I'm hoping it's just a fuse problem.

I'm in the Toyota dealership waiting room right now; any ideas?

Very upset here -- just bought the Prius last weekend.

pEEf is a member who offers a repair service, if you can remove the combination meter board and send to him.

I'm in contact with pEEF currently. If the dealership quotes anymore than 500, I think I'll go with him.

Just have to say... what a fantastic online community here. Thanks!

I assume that your car is out of the 3 year/36K mile warranty. $600 is my estimate of the repair price as MSRP of the part is $370 and you might be charged for a couple labor hours.

It is not that easy to completely disassemble the instrument panel to gain access to the combination meter, but if you can save several hundred $s then you may be motivated to do so. Good luck.
