Sun cap for navigation screen

Has anyone bought the cover for the navigation screen? What happens to the cover when the CD player opens? Is it worth it to buy the cap for the screen?

Great questions. Also, I wonder how accessible some of the buttons are when this cover is installed. Looks like you must reach around it to get access to some of the buttons, and those buttons may not be completely visible from the driver's seat.

Anyone actually tried this cover yet?

The OP told me by PM she had no trouble accessing the controls.

You can get a pretty good idea of the size by viewing the photo of it in the SHOP segment of this forum, but basically it has the same width and height as the NAV screen itself.

You pull the cover off before opening the CD player - it has a big warning about it. Worth it? Eh, maybe. Mine helps a bit, but since I can't see the NAV screen through my polarized sunglasses anyway, it's kind of a moot point for me.
