So we know that you can't have a towbar on the Prius, but that's not my interest

Is there anyway of having a support mount on the back of the car?
What points under the car did you use?
    How did you do it?
    Any advice/further info?

You can have a tow bar rated with 200lbs tongue weight.

Please search "hitch" - top right Google button...

Why you would mount things to the car if you don't need to is beside me - scratches, possible bent body metal.....

I personally love this one http://cgi.ebay.com/SUCTION-CAR-ROO...in_0?hash=item4ceafce171&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14, it mounts (suction) with no cable - just hope it holds, and then hope it doesn't bend the metal it's holding (who comes up with these things??????????).

Yes - I long for a longboard mount - but haven't gone there yet... Get the hitch, be happy. I'm getting one, but having a 2" receiver welded into the 1 1/4 place...

I need to carry a hang glider 17ft long

Therefore require 3 supports - 2 roofbars plus a rear mount at the same height as the roofbars
