I have been able to get places saved in the "Saved Destinations" button on the Entune iPhone app. However, I can't figure out how to get those to sync with the car when I launch the Entune app and plug my phone into the USB port. The phone pairs fine and internet works with the apps, I just can't get the "Saved Destinations" to move from the phone to the car. Anyone figure this out?
I think you go the Map, My Destination and Advanced and then select Saved Destination from Phone. I just tried it and it worked. I did notice that if logged off of Entunes on the phone and logged back on the Saved Destination were gone so make sure the saved destinations are still on the phone. Only works while connected via USB cable. While Traffic, Weather, Bing and Pandora work via the ATT Personal Hotspot tethering option, the Saved Destinations part of Entunes requires a USB connecton. The basics (Traffic, Bing, Pandora, Weather) work well and interface with the Nav fairly seamlessly. The "Saved Destinations" are problematic. The USB upload/download doesn't work at all for me.
Thanks ProximalSuns! Your advice got me pointed in the right direction. Here is the detailed path to save on the phone: 1. Launch the app on your phone from anywhere and click on the bing box. 2. Search for a location. I've put people's addresses directly into the search bar so that it just returns the same address. 3. When it returns results, select one of the results and hit save. Select OK. 4. Go back to the main screen on the phone app and click on saved destinations to verify that your place was saved. I'll get the detailed path to sync with the car app when I get into the car next. It was close to the directions that ProximalSuns gave, but not exactly.
