Hey Trung. Whatever ends up fitting ends up staying on the car. Hopefully they fit the coil overs as well. I ended up with the coil overs, exhaust, and front stabilizer bar. I already had the front brace on when I rolled in there. They tried to fit the tower bar but the braces didnt come out far enough and they couldnt clear the fuse box. It will make your drive from NorCal worth it. Good luck!

Nice. Is it me or the rear looks lower than the front? Any ETA for the springs?

Pete - it depends. I was fortunate enough to have my v as part of the R&D as well. I tried to find out if the parts they left on my car were the same as those available for the GenIII but they didnt have the info at the time I picked up my car and stated they needed to complete their testing and then they would get together with the engineers to discuss the results. I am guessing that once that happens, Tanabe would then post the availability on their website.

Do the springs from the V and C look pretty much the same (size wise)? I'm hoping something will be on the market in the next month or two as I'm looking to get some wheels soon

Dont know for sure but I am guessing that due to size and weight differences between the c and the v, the springs will be different. They also tested a Toyota Yaris so the ones they used on that might be the same as those on the c. Dont know what part number they are though. If the time it took to post results from their previous R&D session, I am guessing it may be two weeks after they start the session before they post the results. Since they started last week, maybe results will be posted within the next week.

yes, they mentioned they wanted the car until tomorrow or thurs.. so i'm sure they still have some other stuff to test fit on.. and yes, i'm definitely hoping coil overs is in the line-up.. lol.

that would definitely make my trip down worth it :)

of course.. i wouldn't mind if they tested more stuff on there too.. just hope it fits! (y)

Do you have any more information that is not on their website - such as when these will be available for retail purchase? I saw on their blog they had both the NF210 and the DF210 - I think I am leaning towards the DF210's as I have always been a lowered car person, the DF's have that C SLAMMED! I want them!

Thanks for the updates - and hopefully you get a pair of coil-overs!

I really like that tower bar but it looks like it prevents access to the fluid (brake?) reservoirs back there...?
    Yes/no?

    Thanks.

i'll have to check it when i get the car back if it really blocks access to anything.. but it shouldn't be too difficult for me to take the bar off if i really needed to.. even then.. during the life of the car.. you barely need to deal with those reservoirs anyway.

one is the PSU coolant, and the other is brake fluid... so.. yea... i've had Toyotas that were well over 100K miles.. and never did i ever have to fill, touch, drain.. etc... anything.. with those types of fluids... they're pretty low maintenance when it comes to that stuff.

and yes... i saw this afternoon.. COILOVERS!! yay..

Not just any coilovers, its their top of the line Z40s. Those run close to $2000. I dont think they tested those on my v so I ended up with their S-OCs. Hopefully they keep those on but they may end up testing the same set that I have.

Rodney just likes hanging out there. He went with me when I picked up my car. I am guessing he was there when they were installing the chasis upgrades on Taz's car.
