Tesla Model S unveliing at 3:30 ET - Live Video

    Tesla will be unveiling the new Model S sedan today at 3:30 Eastern. LeftLane News is providing live video from the event on UStreamTV , and I have embedded the video below.
    Pricing for the car has been set at a target of $57,400 before the $7,500 tax credit it will be eligible for. It already appears that the Model S will be packing plenty of bang for its buck, with the interior center console sporting a very large screen that will hopefully be linked to some sort of touch-activated, user-configurable computer system.

    The Model S is already on pre-order sale and should be launched by late 2011 if there aren’t any major development stumbles.

    I placed my order!!! That thing is too hot and I've wanted a Jaguar my whole life, and the resemblance didn't miss me at all. Just a sweet ride and it'll be available with just about perfect timing for me! Ready to join the ranks of the proud EV owners!

    Wow its pure Maserati Quattroporte at the front and then Jaguar XF at the back! But then the roadster is just a stretched Lotus Elise.

    It took them YEARS to get the Roadster out so let's see how long this baby takes. I hope its much quicker. But I dont see a pure EV car workable until someone really comes up with some better battery tech.
