Why is it that this particular banner inhibits you from accessing the menu bar at the top of the screen, I.E, Search, Quicklinks, etc. I have tried 3 seperate computers, with 3 different browsers, the damn banner will override the menu bar! It drops down covering the menu item, try searching for something with that damn banner covering the search window..... makes typing in what your looking for impossible because this banner is covering up the search line!!!

    Pain in the ASS.......

Are you referring to an ad covering it?

Yeah Danny, I go to do a search, or hit quick links to mark all posts read, but the banner drops down over the pull downs from the menu bar making it impossible to do a search, or mark all posts read!!

It's worse than that for me (Safari on Mac), I can't click on the first two post links as if the ad is reserving that real estate even though it's not covering it...

On my screen it covers 1/4 of the box that I am trying to type my reply into. :(

yeah, I agree- VERY annoying. I'm a daily user of PriuChat and am thinking of not visiting the site for a week or so and HOPEFULLY this ad will expire as will the whole cintiyo.com antivirus thing!!!!

After getting VERY annoyed because I couldn't access the editing buttons when replying to a post I decided to right-click the banner and there was an option for disabling the image so I did and now I don't have any banners up there and so for now my problem is solved. I do not remember the actual wording of the option but it was in the drop down list and I clicked it FAST!

Danny, when this is resolved let us know and I'll figure out how to get the banners working again. ;)

I too have lockups on Firefox - I'm sure this is what the AVG thread is about too. Someone should just block the ad - until it can be fix - very much a PITA

Ok, that Clear Edge banner is getting obnoxious and should be removed if the advertiser is not willing to change it to an appropriate size.

The new one takes up half the screen and require you to scroll down to even see the first post in a forum!!!
