Came home and found this email. Yippee!

I just got my email yesterday. Car is supposed to be in port today and at the dealer by the 14th. So hopefully I will be picking up by the 15th or 16th. Finally!! I ended up changing to my second color choice which is Blizzard Pearl and am able to get the car much sooner than waiting for the Winter Grey I originally wanted which wouldn't be here until probably early July. I actually think, hence my decision to change that I will like the Blizzard better after all. Cannot wait!! Oh and by the way, it's not a chic color. LOL!

I'm in Northern Virginia. Do you think I'll get mine in before the last week of June?? hope so!!!

I'm also in Rochester, NY. What dealership did you order through? I'm #9 on Hoselton's list. Hope to get something from them soon.

I am over at Vanderstyne since I live on the west side (Greece). That is the one advantage to having price negotiations; you don't have to go all over town for the best price.

I believe there is only one ahead of me. I don't think Vanderstyne moves near as many units as Hoselton or Dorschel.

I am waiting on a blue package III. PM me if you wanna talk more so we don't bore the rest of the folks here.


Question to anyone about allocations like this: Since this was not a custom order, might it show up with options I did not order?

Your dealer should be able to see all the Port Installed Options that are supposed to be added at the port. If you catch it early enough, he will be able to add or delete any as desired. At least, that's what others are reporting on this forum.

I sent a note to the saleslady and asked about what ship my car was on. She replied:
"I believe that your Prius is going to be shipped from Georgetown Kentucky port. Then it will be transported on a transit truck to our dealership."

I know there is a ship called Kentucky Highway. I know there is a Toyota plant in Georgetown, Kentucky, but it does not build Prii. I also know Georgetown, KY is almost 500 miles inland. So I don't know what port she is referring to. I doubt Toyota built a canal that long. If that were possible, Disney would have had their cruise ships pulling up to the Magic Kingdom years ago.

Does this make sense to anyone else?

Update, My car is in transit to the dealer. Yay.
