You are such a showoff! Have you been on CamryChat yet talking about it? Is this another buy/resell scenario?

Thanks gents. Yeah, everything in the picture is part of the buy/sell program. The FJ will be exported to Canada where they're being hosed on both price and availability, so it will be an easy sale when the snow flies saving a Canuck serious $CDN while making a few ducats myself. The Prius is on the blocks once the credits expire, and HyCam will also be down the road when the credits end.

how exactly can you buy and sell so many cars? I mean wouldn't the insurance company think it's weird or are they not insured at all and are without a plate?

In my state it's legal to buy/sell up to six vehicles per year tax-free without a dealer's license, so that's what I do, split between new and special interest used cars and trucks.

My insurance company is fine with it, all are insured for full coverage beyond minimums. It's a self-supporting hobby, not a business, that allows me to drive something interesting every few months. Also, my state has no sales tax and TT&L is only $35/year.

I've already seen two 2007 Camrys on the road... but no hybrids.

I love the way the headlights and tail lights bulge out.

Well your gonna have to do a user review on the hycam for us ;)

I see the bikini babe wasnt availible  .

Do you ever worry about getting stuck with a car, when you do a buy/sell?
How many miles do you put on them before the sell off?
I just figured I would ask as others may have the same curiosity?..

I did a brief writeup in another thread here linking to CamryChat.

    Yeah, bikini babe wasn't cooperative...yet!

I'm careful about selecting what to buy/sell, analyze market trends and whatnot. I never get stuck with any, but will sell at a loss if I must. I haven't had to do that since 1996. The new stuff sells at very low miles, usually under 4K. I've tweaked my system since college days starting with used beaters, eventually working up to mostly new vehicles with the occasional special interest (exotics, mostly) car thrown into the mix. Prius put the program on autopilot. Hopefully HyCam will do well, too.

I'm intrigued by this concept, do you get these cars from traditional dealers?

I really very impressed with "Amped's" hobby, this can make some money kinda like the show Flip this House.... :)

My father & I used to buy clunkers restore them and sell them.
back in the mid-80's we caught an old family run car lot closing the cars we picked up all ran just needed interior, some cosmetic's & some TLC.. below is what we got for 15k.

1962 olds starfire coupe (sold for 9k)
1964 corvair coupe (sold for 5k)
1967 lemans convt (sold for 7k)
1962 crown imperial sedan (sold for 10k)
1957 crown imperial coupe (sold for 16k)
    1966 250SE coupe
1951 Bently mark IV (sold for 40k)

All we have left is the 250SE and it should hit Ebay soon..

So yes dealing in NEW I think would make it a faster roll over time, but it also takes some talent That Amped obviously has.. Good job dude! ;)

I've posted the step-by-step around here before. For new Toyotas:

    - Find a fleet dealer for your area listed on the Toyota fleet site

    - Register as a fleet customer

    - Buy at fleet price

    - File for tax credits, if any

    - Enjoy driving your new _______ for awhile

    - Sell before the next model year debuts

    - Repeat while staying within your state private sale guidelines to avoid dealer status

This is easier to do in Oregon than most other states with our exceptionally low TT&L fees. Your fleet dealer will have the details.
