Thumbnails of photos

I've found a couple of threads about posting photos, but I'm still not doing something right with the new board. I see many posts with little photo thumbnails that you can click to get the full image, but I'm not having much luck with it. I can upload a photo through the attachments manager; I can also paste in the URL into the image tool, but I don't see how to get the thumbnails to work. I'm sure I'm making it harder than necessary.

Hey Tom,
Scroll down when you're in the "Reply to Thread" area and click on: "Manage Attachments". A "Manage Attachments" window should pop up. Then click "Browse" and go to the directory on your computer where the file is and double-click it. Then click the "upload" button. Next scroll to the bottom of the "Manage Attachments" window and click "Close this window". The file should then appear in the "Attach Files" section below in the "Additional Options" area. You're then ready to "Preview Post" or "Submit Reply". I don't know if there is a size limitation, but I always resize my stuff to about 800 x 600 before doing any of the above. You may also have a pop-up blocker that may need to be turned off first.

I've been able to upload okay, it's getting the thumbnails to work that bothers me. It looks like the problem is that I was linking to files already uploaded, so the BBS software didn't make a new thumbnail for me. I'll try one here. This is what the snow and ice looks like in our neighborhood.

Yay, Tom, you've got it

if you are logged in, you get the thumbnail. If you are not logged in you get the file name. The auto log outs happen fast enough to make it confusing for me.
