Tinting in SW Washington?

    I'm looking to have the wife's 2010 tinted and am having a hard time finding legit shops to check prices with. We're down in Lewis County but I'd happily go north to Olympia or south to the Longview/Kelso area to have the work done. Anyone have suggestions or experiences in the area?

    well if you find anything good, let me know. i am in Olympia and wil travel to centralia for a good shop and price. was thinking about tint job as x-mas present anyway

    I'm still looking but will post back when I come up with something.

    We used a shop in Centralia a few years ago to tint the wife's WRX. They did an ok job but he's been out with an injury for the last month and hasn't been able to get us a quote.

    The guy in Centralia who did our Subaru is finally back off of medical leave. He quoted us 229.00 and will warranty it for life.

    The wife has a medical waiver to go lower than the state limit. So for me it'll probably be slightly noticeable.

    so i take it, you guys are not out at night much? neither am i, but am getting to the age where night blindness is an issue. as you know, our weather makes that much worse

    Actually we do quite a bit of Early AM/Night driving. Today was the first time I was able to ride in it since the tint was done. The difference in visibility is barely noticeable at all to me.

    The tint job itself looks fantastic. They did even better than the last car we had them work on.

    what color? i think black looks better, but a few have told me silver is better vision and cooler in summer

    Ours is black. Silver might reflect more of the sunlight in the summer but I don't think it looks very appealing visually.
