Tinting in the VA/DC area?

    I just purchased a new Prius and just wondering if anyone has had a good experience/good results for tinting? How much did it cost? Thanks!

    Not sure if you have gotten your window tinted yet or gotten information about this but I just got mine done for $175. I use a company called Xlint Tint.

    I had mine done for $150 at a place off of I-270 exit 15 with Lifetime Warranty. Looks great!!!!

    I did my own tint job. I put in the front 50% and the back 35%.

    If you have navigation in your car, its not a good idea to tint your windows. It cause's interference with the navigation sometimes. best to ask for professional advise. My repair shop is very knowledgeable since they specialize in toyota and lexus vehicles and hybrid. chantilly lexus and toyota repair center 703-814-7777 in CHantilly Virginia

    No problems with interference between tint and my navigation, ever. I think someone may have fed you a line on this one.

    Does anyone have a more recent recommendation for window tinting in the Washington, DC (city limits) or VA (Arlington, Falls Church) areas? I am thinking that a nice tint on my Winter Gray Metallic Prius would like pretty darned good and reduce interior heat.
