I would be a lot more impressed with the tire discussions if anyone had metrics on their relative rolling resistance. But after an initial start, it looks like both California and NHTSA have stopped any work on measuring tire rolling resistance.

Am I the only one bothered by undefined, unmeasured rolling resistance claims?

    Bob,

The lack of rules requiring disclosure of RR measurements is the usual protection of vested interests by our legislatures. There are metrics for many of the same tire models available in England and threads discussing them are on PC.
