Ok, so I have a luxury car that gets 28 mpg on the highway, is 8 years old with 123,000 miles (it's an Olds) - we're traveling between 2k - 3k /month.....my question is what is the "ride" like in a Prius on long distance trips? Is it comfortable? Does it work for you? Any comparisons (have an '01 Aurora) to my current comfortable ride? Will car travel like I drive (cruise at between 70 and 80 mph with quick acceleration)? Thanks for any input or directing me to info that will help make my decision easier to buy or not buy a Prius!

The best thing that I can think of is for you to go to a local dealer, and take one for a test drive. Only you can tell yourself if you will like the ride and handling.

Coming from a 2005 Ford Taurus, I think the Prius is a Luxury mobile. My Father-in-Law drive a 2001 Acura RL, and I think that my Prius V drives better than it does.
