Has anybody that has gone to a show tried out the touch tracer feature while wearing gloves? I'm curious to know if it is like those capacitive touch screens and must be used with bare fingers. I would assume that the buttons actually depress when you push them so hopefully they'll still work with gloves on regardless of if you get the touch tracer display.

I thought about that only after getting back into my 2004 with big thick snow gloves. Yeah, my main thought was that the touch-trace buttons were smaller than the ones on the current models.

When I was at the Prius Connection event in NYC I tried that, I pulled my sleeve over my finger and tried the button/touch-tracer, and it did work, so it must be a touch-sensitive system and not a capacitive one.

How large your glove fingers are may influence your success with hitting the right buttons.
