I think you're the first PriusChatter who has gotten them on a Prius and posted about it. I believe Jayman had the SUV counterpart of the Observes, and C4 had Observes on a Corolla, and both liked them a lot.

From what I'm reading about the Observes, they sound like great winter tires. And with their crushed walnut shells compound, they may be the best snow and ice tire you can get for areas where studded winter tires are prohibited.

Thanks in advance for posting your evaluation of the Observes if and when you get to use them on snow and ice.

    Doc,

I think 1010tires.com, among other online retailers, sells them. $90 each for 185/65/15. $96 for 195/60/15.

They are Canadian. Can they ship to the US, and are there customs fees or hassles?

Edit: Yes they can. It is on their site.

There is no mention of anything about customs fees.

Don't think there are customs fees or hassles. Just $90 for delivery (which is higher than what US/local online vendors charge). No sales tax. But it sounds like the total delivered and installed price will be about the same as getting them from your local dealer.
