Toyota Ceramic Tint vs. Dealer Installed Tint

    Any thoughts from the experts out there on the "factory" or port installed tint vs dealer installed?

    Also does anyone know if the Toyota tint is covered by the extended warranty. I was planning on purchasing the platinum care 6yr/100K and wanted to see if was it covered.

    Well I found out the port installed tint is covered by the 3yr/36K warranty, but would not be covered by the extended warranty. Still trying to check down the technical specifications of it. Toyota corporate does not have the information as it is installed and provided by Southeast Toyota Distributors.

    Why not aftermarket ceramic tint with lifetime warranty?
