Toyota Financial Service (TSF) extended warranty recognized by Gulf State dealers?

    I want to contact Warranty Shack for the Platinum extended warranty on my 2008 Prius, but I can't seem to determine whether the warranty will be honored at car dealers for warranty work in the Gulf States. The TSF warranty is not sold here; we are pushed to purchase the warranty from the Gulf States representatives at the usual dealer outrageous costs. Anyone know?

    Hi starfish, I'm sorry that I didn't respond to this sooner. The TFS warranty has to be honored at all US Toyota dealerships. The Gulf State and the SE Toyota dealerships do recognize the warranty.
