    It did say 6-8 weeks so it could take time especially for the first 1000 people I'd guess. Maybe not really 6 weeks, but still a bit longer than what we've been waiting.

    I think once the first 1000 got gobbled up the message went away saying the first 1000 get a badge (because it wasn't there when I went back a 2nd time a few days later to check in on it.

    I just ordered mine, but since I just got this car, the badge looked so empty. So I cheated and put that I had 50,000 miles on it and looked much better. :D

    Don't forget those who recently registered, I think you'll be getting a vinyl badge. It was the first 1000 people who did it who get an emblem badge.

    I ordered mine 3 hours after it was announced and was worried I wasn't in the top 1000, but people are still signing up for this thing? Shoot...

    I'm going to probably gonna toss mine in my big box of Prius stuff.

    As I said a few posts above, if you were one of the first 1000 you'll get a custom molded adhesive vehicle badge. After that the next 10,000 people will get a badge in sticker form.

    So while people are still signing up you'll most likely get something a bit more special to toss in your box Mac.

    Speaking of badges remains me of a question I have been meaning to ask!

    Q. Does anybody know whether the Power port or Plug-in port or energy port flap or door(whatever it is called) in the plug-in Prius will have a locking mechanism similar to the Gasoline Cap door, or it is just going to be accessible to anybody who pushes open from the outside?

    Worried someone is going to steal your electrons? :)

    What might be useful is if it closed and possibly locked when it was charging (which I have never seen)
