Has anyone been keeping track of his/her service record at the TOYOTA OWNERS
Toyota Owners - Official Toyota Owners Website
    website?

I just found that all the service records for my car entered by Toyota dealers on that site have disappeared. Records entered by myself are still there.

I do, and the records all seem there (dealer entered). Maybe a temporary glitch in their DB?

There was a couple of weeks where the dealer entries disapeared but they reappeared.

Yes, but only you can see it and that is probably the way it should be? Hal

I registered on that site, and tried entering a few things, basically because the Canadian counterpart site does not allow owners to enter services. It seemed to work, but everytime I exitted and re-logged in everything, vehicle, services, was gone. So: I haven't been able to get anything to stick.

Just a quible, the ~15 character limits for entries is a bit of a pita: most of my time was trying to figure out an intelligible entry within that limit.

I just checked mine and all of my service history is still there. I did notice that they have updated their website since the last time that I visited.

That's strange, I had the opposite happen to me. All of my dealer service records were there but the ones I entered were gone! They were there for about a month and then poof! Glad I had a hard copy so I just put them back on there.

Update: I got an e-mail from Toyota saying:
I have sent a follow up e-mail and am waiting for reply.

Well, as of 11:45am, today, I cannot get in. I keep getting system crash errors, theirs, not mine!

I hope they "did not fix it" ,it worked just fine the way it was!!

Just got an e-mail back from Toyota:
This is sad as the policy will make it less convenient to track warranty related complaints - for example if some problem came up before the warranty expires and the customer complains to the dealer but it is only diagnosed to be a real problem (as opposed to something like "the noise is absolutely normal") at a later time after the warranty has expired.
