Toyota: Pick me, pick me. I drive 100-150 miles a day

    Hi Doug, Erica and all of Toyota. I am a HUGE Toyota Prius fan. Just sold my 07 to get my 2010. I drive 100-150 miles a day because I am a fine wine rep. I am in sales and if you pick me to get a priority car or the package 4 with sunroof in blue metallic ribbon, I will do nothing but get you more customers hooked on this car and bring some sales. I will email all my accounts and stand on the street shouting the praises of Toyota.

    Winebuff, I think others will agree that the priority window has been long closed. But fear not, I am certain that within just a short few months if even that long, you'll be driving a new 2010 and chatting it up with all of us about it! :)

    c'mon --- we all think you can be a bit more excited about this. You need to get out of your shell winebuff. Uncork that personality. A bit dry. Don't bottle it up. Put some pop into it.

    no no no . . . you got it all wrong. Didn't you see that movie, "Pay it forward" ? You don't ask for stuff conditioned on what you will do tomorrow ... right? See, the trick was to be out there 4, 5, 6 or more years ago ... pushin' this silly car ... while all your suburban driving friends just laughed at you. Even as they laughed ... you're winning converts over left and right... family members ... you carpool partner, other work associates, etc ... a regular Jim Jones of the Toyota world.
