I'm thinking the guy did not know it was the MUNI tunnel when he drove into it. To me driving in SF is not the easiest and I can see this happening. He lucked out on such a measly ticket though!!!!

I just want to state for the record that most drivers of Seaside Pearl Prii do NOT aspire to be a train. B)

While I admit that SF can indeed be daunting - It was a MUNI tunnel. Generally the lack of pavement and train tracks under your car are a subtle clue.
