    Since the NUMMI plant will not be producing the Pontiac VIBE... Why wouldn't toyota use the capacity there to produce Prius's for toyota or a Prius's for GM under a New name....

    Heck , there is capacity, no more shipping from Japan... I would buy one...

    I think this is a good idea, and wonder why it has not been proposed!

    I think it was. There is another thread on here about it. I think GM didn't want to do it.
