    This could be interesting. However, I'm still leery about driving around with 5,000 psi hydrogen on my vehicle. Especially since at 4% concentration there's a very real danger of flammability.

    However, I have much faith in the engineers that design Toyota vehicles, and I believe beyond any doubt that this vehicle would be safe in normal highway driving, and would pose no danger in an accident.

    I don't fear the flamability of H2 - certainly no more than I fear the flamability of gasoline! What I fear is *anything* at 5,000psi. And I fear the amount of wasted money on H2 demonstration projects as we're left to drive gasoline-only vehicles.

    it's been a while eh? The FCHV is based on the Highlander and prototypes have been shown since 2003.

    Yeah, looks like these will begin road testing; I'm guessing to test out the crowd reactions and to see how these models test out on the street.
