    i think its only available on the 3 and 4.
    when you lightly touch the steering wheel controls, a "map" comes up on the dashboard telling you what button your finger is on

    You can turn it off, scroll through the screen options until you get to the Setting Screen and then choose to turn off steering wheel control (or something to that effect) then the buttons will not show the selection on the display when you lightly touch them.
