Does anyone know if the hitches available for the 2009 Prius will fit the 2010?

My local hitch place ordered a 2009 but when they looked at the mounting holes on our 2010 they aren't even close to the right location. You need to get a new version which will fit the 2010. I'm looking actively online but haven't found any yet. ANYONE who finds a reliable source that has actually installed one successfully on a 2010 please post here!

    Thanks

Just received an email from Paul Goldman at JuicedHybrid indicating that they should have a 2010 specific hitch available next week.
    No other leads so far...

Keep in mind that you should not TOW anything in a Prius. It has been discussed heavily on this forum. I may eventually get one, only to be able to install a bike carrier from the hitch, as I do on my Honda Odyssey.

Also keep in mind that you should never exceed the posted speed limit in the Prius. Says so right in the owner's manual. :)

C'mon, Darell, don't go so hard on my friend eglmainz!

Of course, you might want to show some pictures just to make it a bit sweeter! (And none with the winter spandex, OK?)

And you should *always* press Park before powering down.

Latest trailer usage... from last weekend. Fortunately the riding was warm enough to just wear a sleeveless jersey and super-tight shorts.

Kidding about the warm weather. This is how I dressed (seen on the same drive as the car with trailer). I'm the old guy. The one in the KOM jersey is my oldest nephew. Do you have any idea what it is like riding with a 23-year-old who's in shape?

    I suggest faking gear trouble.

I wouldn't need to fake a thing. I just hope he'd be a trained paramedic.

Hey, if there is a Prius parked nearby, could you use the HV cable to kick start your heart again? LOL

It may fry other parts on the way, but it probably wouldn't matter much at that point, would it!?

(Sorry to the OP for hijacking the thread -- I really wanted to know more about finding a hitch for the 2010 myself.)
