My Prius v is the silver one on the extreme right. You can see a gen 2 and two gen 3s in this photo. I estimate about 30 Priuses are parked here on a typical day.

A whole lot of enlightened driver-owners there.

Is this a public lot or a limited access company-specific lot.

If the latter, what does the company do/make/provide?

I was in Massachusetts a couple of weeks ago and the only empty spot in the parking lot was next to another magnetic gray Prius, but a bit bigger:[IMG]

This is the IBM research parking lot. Most of the employees are scientists or engineers
which probably accounts for their choice in cars. If you saw the corporate headquarters
on the other hand, you will see nothing but the German brands and Lexus :)

Every time I hear someone considering a new car I always sing the praises of my Prius. Tried to talk my old CO into buying a Prius when he retired, I at least got the bug in his ear.

Wow! There are lots of Prius around here, but they're never grouped together like that. Sightings of v and c models are becoming common too. Sadly, I'm all alone at the plug though.

I work in the steel business and have never seen another Prius in our parking lot.

Which is odd because as an industry we recycle a lot.

I love driving around Lawrence, KS. Every where I go I see a Prius, use to make me jealous until I finally got mine.

Why would you be jealous? The only reason why I drive a Prius is due to the huge increase in gas prices and long commutes to and from work everyday. Honestly, I would rather be driving something more comfortable and better looking. And I do not care about my carbon footprint because the rest of the world does not care (AKA CHINA/SOUTHEAST ASIA country) and they will never change. The Prius is an inexpensive and ugly car but it gets great mileage. The great MPG is the only reason why I bought one.

Well, after being praised at, a lot of curious questions, laughed at, verbally spat at etc. etc. for driving my Prius for 2.5 years, I saw one Prius c, and two other gen 3 Prii in my company. Very surprising because people in my company usually love powerful cars (and being an air marshal organisation) driven by power hungry managers and the likes... But this is a surprising change to say the least!

I personnally love the look of the car. I never wanted a sports car or a luxury car. I wanted a practical car. The Prius has lots of space, it is a hatch back so getting stuff out of the back end is easy, great fuel economy, it is comfortable to drive and ride in.

I was jealous because I had been driving around in a Ford Taurus for the last 6 years, before that I had a Ford Escort for 4 years, and then a Dodge Dynasty for 2 years before that. The average age of my cars was around 10 years and 150,000 miles. So any new car was making me jealous.

With our previous second gen Honda Civic Hybrid we once happened to parallel park directly next to another. Now that was a rarity.

Thanks everyone for the pics, in particular it gives a feel for the dimensions of V vs regular Prius.
