Unintended Consequences Bite Again: C4C won't save fuel? — Autoblog Green

Notice who the source is? It's CNW, known for the infamous junk science about Tahoes and Hummers being greeners than Priuses and Aveos getting the "same" mileage as the Prius. I put very little to no credibility in anything they say due to the above drivel.

I didn't bother reading the AOL "article" but it sure attracted a lot of comments, 1055 on AOL so far.

The article is exceedingly simple minded, but at least most of the commenters seem to realize that and CNW's reputation has proceeded them.

It was good to read comments showing CNW has lost credibility. More & more folks understand this is a solo character writing for the highest bidder. GM et al have blown through their excess money for turd/articles ... and what did it gain them ... 40 or 50 extra hummer sales before going BKO anyway? And what did GM do via BKO? They shead over a dozen ghost town plants totalling hundreds of acres that are nothing more than toxic stew. Guess who pays the superfund bill(s) on GM's decades of dumping on those sites? You guessed it. THAT half BILLION tab hasn't even been dealt with, no fresh paper money printed up.

Hey Spinella ... do your secret number crunchings take into account THOSE kind of stat's, when you make up numbers pertaining to mpg and land barge longevity? Didn't think so. What kind of isolated tiny world does a person like that live in, I wonder. Something makes me think of Dan Aykroyd in, "nothing but trouble" ... the Judge, living in his own little private toxic wasteland.

The criminal aspect of CFC is NOT that econo cars will drive farther now that the owners get better mpg's ... the vile aspect is that some discovered the loophols that allow buyers to simply buy new Hummers and Caddy SUV's ... allowed because the Fed's see a need to get THOSE sales moving too.

(must ... not ... let it ... get to me! ...)
Somehow, Spinella of CNW managed to FAIL to print the REAL dirt. But then, he knows what side of the bread his butter is on.
