Yeah I finally realized I was in the user pic section and not the avatar. It won't stay clean and shiny for long. the poor thing. lol.
You tried to avoid helping but you tipped me off anyway I've been combing the place trying to figure out what was keeping my profile pic from showing up in my messages. I don't know how they worked out their terminology, but for those who will find this discussion later... Once you've gotten into your account (by clicking you name), find "User CP" along the top -- that's "Control Panel" In the Control Panel, look down the left for "Edit Avatar" Once there, select or upload an image. Remember to click on Save Changes to make it stick.
