I am the owner of a new version 6 enginer kit. I am rather dense and find the directions for diy could be plainer. Example: "You may have to get your hand in beneath rear bumper to fasten silver ring". With popeye forearms That was impossible. Had to loosen top of bumper cover. " run charger cord to bumper cord" . Didn't explain to drill through back panel. Nor to drill into rear tail light for charger led, ect. "hook up 9 wire R to R bms a L to L. ". "batteries may be reversed" I learned that 9 wire cord must not be reversed. Yikes did I fry something? O well Mr Chan is trying to straighten me out. Wonder of wonders I still am not too disgusted. I WILL MAKE IT WORK! Don, By the way Eric Powers is a nice guy to know. He furnished his phone # AND HELPED ME A BUNCH, THANKS ERIC

sounds about right. great for tinkerers, but no one should expect a simple install and flawless operation. i would consider one if i could afford to keep my old 04 as a second car. it would be fun to learn more about what everyone talks about here.
