Voice Calling in 2010 V Prius

    Is there any way to bypass all the crap and dial by name as I do on my cell phone with ear bud.

    Well, just about. Going to "Setup" you can turn "Voice Recognition Talkback" off. Then you only need to say "Phone" after the 1st beep and "Dial by Name" after the 2nd beep. Then, of course, say the name after the 3rd beep. It's quick and considering the system handles audio and navigation as well as phone it's about as succinct as you can get.

    You can also cut her off (she won't mind!) lol. Just press the VOICE button at any time, you don't have to wait for her to finish. Of course, turning it off completely is the more elegant solution.
