    SOUTHFIELD, Mich. -- Federal-Mogul's Wagner brand has announced that it is the first aftermarket brand to offer replacement brake pads for 2010 Toyota Prius models. The new Wagner ThermoQuiet ceramic pads (Wagner p/n QC1184A, front; QC1423, rear) are now available through leading distributors across North America.

    “Wagner ThermoQuiet ceramic pads offer the quieter performance, superior stopping power and longer pad life that are important to the owners of today’s vehicles,†said Ken Selinger, director of friction products, North America, Federal-Mogul.

    [Comment]: They won't be selling too many of them as OEM pads will last over 150k miles. :D

    i had 89k miles on my 05 Prius when I sold it. I didn't need to replace the pads yet. This was back in November 09. I know the person that bought my Prius, and they are still going on the original factory pads.

    I just took the picture of my front driver side brake pads. The top is the outer pad and the bottom is the inner pad. They are the original pad with 123,000 miles.

    It looks like I can go another 120k miles.
