Weird Unofficial Toyota Ads: "Well, at least he drives a Prius"

    Tired of the same old ads that try to convince you that you are saving the Earth by driving a hybrid (newsflash: You're not. It's just less bad than most other cars available right now, and that's important, but lets keep things in perspective)? Well, these are certainly different. One shows a man getting rid of a body (composting it?) near a lake, with the caption: "Well, at least he drives a Prius." Another shows a man with a woman who we can assume is a prostitute, with the same text. The last one is a bit more ambiguous: Either it is a father who disapproves of his daughter's boyfriend but "at least he drives a Prius", or his wife is cheater on him with a hybrid-driver.

    Actually, that last add with the Prius in the front lawn looks like a white one to me... but maybe all that silver is just starting to look white :p

    Don't care if they're real or fake ads - since I think all ads are fake and are designed to take advantage of the consumer whether dumb or smart or pretty or ugly or whatever.

    The top one is an obvious fake as no Prius driver will leave the lights on while dumping a body in a lake and a black or magnetic gray one would be used.

    That explains it!

    They're in the wrong order.

    Psychopath son takes hedge clippers and offs Prius-driving girlfriend out in the woods.

    Then he dumps body, steals her Prius and has tryst with Prostitute.

    Returns home to finish mowing lawn. Puts newly acquired Prius in garage.

    That's the yard care guy giving it to the wife of the house. Ignorant hubby looking like an idiot in his robe. I know this. I used to mow lawns.

    ... moed lawns with your solar powerd, L.E.D. iluminated mower I suppose. Maybe a battery operated edger too? That's what caught all those wife'ies eye, right? :p

    EDIT:
    My wife found an interesting spin on the ads. She feels they're kinda sexist ... because they all involve women being killed, prostituted, or imoral.
