Picked up two pairs of 6000K HID, packed the fog light kit for the morning install and am now at the coffee shop waiting on the almost all limo tint at the shop. -2hrs and counting.

Got the car inspected and an alignment. I'm amazed that after 44k miles I still have 10 or 11 out of 12mm on the brakes! They deflated the tires from 40 back to 35 psi so I need to stop by Sheetz again and refill ;-)
I realized when I got home that the dealer had also given me the alignment printout. The pre-alignment measurements showed I had whacked the front toe pretty good when I replaced the springs. Toe on one of the rears is still .08 out of spec though but the combined rear toe is still in the green. I should follow up.
Also finally had enough lasting blue sky to wash it good.

Nice!!!! I am thinking about getting them. Please let us know how the right is. Can they be adjusted to soft?

For me I got the car back from the tint shop. So hot in SoCal the wait really drove me nuts. But tint seems good. MUCH better at night with the glare all around. Limo in the rear all windows + roof. 30% fronts.

Seem my uploads have errors and can't be seen on clicking on them. Hmmm

Finished the REMIN dash kit today! Decided to install the entire kit. I'm very happy with the finished product.

Sorry for the bad pics. I'll try to take better pics later.

Yes, this is the real CF kit. It's not an exact match of the shifter but closer than any vinyl wrap. Thanks!

I baked them at 220 degrees for about 8 minutes. Then pried them open slowly. I recommend using some thicker gloves than just latex, my fingers got a little burned and hurt for about a day and a half after.

Hopefully the pics will come back up when the website is back up.

I was a little nervous about the whole thing because the prius is brand new, but after doing the mod it was pretty simple. Might take them apart again and paint the chrome smoke.

I just got mine aligned as well during my 5k service. The front right toe was slightly out and corrected. Rear right is also out but they said they see this often and don't shim it back. Let me know if you get the same response. Though lowered, that should not make a difference with trailing arm design.

Today a white Escalade dinged my rear passenger side door. They were cool enough to stick around and tell me, so we exchanged the insurance info, and now am waiting for a call. My black prius is 2 weeks old, I was bummed. I called the dealer, who said they use a company called Color Point who comes out to the dealer to do work for all the dealer vehicles. I'm going to go with that guy...

I filled up my tank for the first time since I bought it. I experienced the blinking last gar bar (go get gas NOW), and went and got some chevron regular gas. At the first click, I stopped the pump. I put in my gas price to the prius computer, and we will see how it goes.

Thanks to this forum for all the great info!

On another note, it turns out my prius will take E10 fuel as well. I wonder if anyone has used that, and if there is a benefit to it?

We use E10 during the winter but the cold weather worked along with it to drop my mpg a few miles. The car can do E10 fine but I don't think any higher than that.
Good luck with the ding. It's nice that the people stuck around.

Did you used to have an xA over at ScionLife? If so, I loved that car.
