Yep. That's the one. I remember being jealous of your steering wheel.

I was told the same thing, it's not a big issue for a few reasons; the rear is "floating", no sway bar to keep it all together and 2, it's common because people tend to make more right than left turns and 3, park on the street on the right side and bounce into curbs. I do not but I see why they wouldn't rush to correct that wheel now. Interesting but good theories. The manager explained that, as with mine, .08 is just a hair out of spec but as long as the overall rear toe is good, we are good to go. It's not enough to affect anything. Perhaps a sway bar would help but he also said it could wear out just as fast. Chances are the everyday Joe has a worse alignment and doesn't know it and won't ever, especially if they rotate the tires. My curiosity I settled, not worried :)

"Floating"? it's a trailing arm so by design it's completely connected. The only way it "floats", is it's designed to give torsionally.

What they should determine is the tolerance is too tight for the Prius and open it up. My tech writer noted he saw a lot of Prius outside the acceptable range. If I never had the alignment checked, I would have never known unless abnormal tire wear. By then it's too late and they will blame it due to wear and tear..

I re-read my alignment readings, rear right toe is out by .11 degrees, total toe out by .01 degree.

I didn't think to ask them... I wonder how bad the rear needs to be to require correction and if we would ever know in normal driving.
I definitely noticed the front is good now, had the usual symptom, a little shimmy in the steering wheel at about 60 mph. Now the car seems to just glide along, smooth as silk :)

I got one of my JDM style mirrors installed. Working on the second one too and will post my experience with some added tips for anyone looking to do this. Video: Video by frankperkins • Instagram

I got my Prius back from the dealership. They swapped out some part under the driver seat, now the seat stays at the height I set it at instead of slowly sinking over several hours... and they washed it, which is always nice of them.

My drivers seat does that too. I assume that was a warranty swap?

If you don't mind me asking, what did you pay for the set? Did you get the exact same one that the original poster in that thread got? I don't see the Prius listed on his website.

I'm the original poster in that thread :) Yes, the Prius isn't yet listed on the website because I'm the first one they've done, but they're priced the same as their Corolla pedals so just take a look at the Corolla sets. I got the more expensive anti-slip finish + $15 for custom pocketing + a one-time $25 setup/programming fee for the footrest work. If you request the same footrest template (assuming you want the flanged design), you won't have to pay the $25.

Ultimate Pedals has offered group buys for many forums in the past. The nice thing about their group buys is you can include any cars including the gas-guzzler you have sitting in the garage, not just the Prius. If there's enough interest, I can host a group buy and those with the Prius c and v can join us as well. It can be as cheap as $109 (for the smooth finish) less any applicable GB discount. Anyone interested?

Finally finished installation of DEI 545T, added HomeLink rearview mirror, installed new steering wheel, and changed my horns. Oh, and also put husky liners.
I think I'm done for now.

Clazzio Seat Covers installed. Love the color combination I chose. Thanks Rodney for your help on the install. They still have to settle in and form, very comfortable. I feel like I upgraded from a Prius 2 to 5! Happy 4th of July modders! Be safe and sane out there! Enjoy!
