    I thought we can have a thread where we can share what we've done to our Prius on a daily basis.





    So today I stripped my front end to get the bumper lic plate holes filled & re-sprayed. Also getting the signal mirror covers painted so that they will match:

    After being ticketed twice for not having front license plate on my previous 2 cars, it's not worth it for me :( otherwise I would do it as well(plug the holes & go plateless in the front) as it looks so much better:cool:.

    I replaced the hi beam halogens with PIAA Intense White Halogens. They are rated at 4100K but don't look too much whiter than the stock halogens. :( Will still look for something a bit whiter --- I am just too spoiled by the LED headlights.

    U probably need a 5000k from a good brand such as PIAA or Phillips to get closer to your stock LED:) .

    Thanks. The 4100Ks I got from PIAA are the coolest they go in a 9005 bulb. Philips Diamond Vision bulbs are 5000K but I am little leery going with that brand (looks like they come from Asia (Singapore?) and it's not Phillips brand).

    They came painted from the ebay seller & we all know that his BP isn't a match.


    I believe the dealer sells them

    I have a plan to keep the plate but not have it visible........in time I will tell. :D

    You're right, it would be a gamble. IMO, best lighting is made in America, Europe(German) or Japan:).
