    Ordered a #9 in November. When I read here of allocations being reportedly made 1/22 and 1/23 I emailed my dealer. His response:

    "we were not allocated any Prius . Our next Allocation is Feb 7"

    NONE?!? Is this possible or do you think I'm getting the run-around?

    Unfortunately it sounds entirely plausible. If Dianne, one of the highest volume dealers, only got 8 it's possible.

    Hopefully they will get your car on the next allocation.

    It's plausible, particularly if you're using a smaller dealer, a dealer that got relatively large allocations in Dec., or if you're using a dealer that sold few of the Classic Prii.

    It may be worth your while to see where you stand on the list--how many are in front of you...if thier allocations are really low and you're way down the list you might be better off looking elsewhere if you want a car any time soon. If you're high on the list and can wait until Feb....or even March, you should be in good shape.
